The Final Work In Anselmo Carreño's Modern Madrid Trilogy, Me Llaman La Presumida ("Call Me Conceited") Was The Second To Be Written In Partnership With Francisco Ramos De Castro. Not Surprisingly, Me Llaman Draws Heavily On Its Predecessor La Del Manojo De Rosas (1934) For Settings, Situations And Characters. Both Zarzuelas, For Example, Feature Second-Act Romanzas In Which A Patient Baritone Hero Apostrophises An Errant Heroine, Sorozábal's "Madrileña Bonita" Mirrored By Alonso's "Madrileña Graciosa".
