Sealed, latest run of the 2016, 2LP EU reissue pressed on limited edition white vinyl. Gatefold jacket, custom hype sticker on shrink. Gore is Deftones deliberately stepping off balance. Bright, abrasive, and emotionally exposed, it favors jagged textures and open nerves over the band’s usual velvet-black atmosphere. Guitars scrape and splinter, rhythms feel unsettled, and Chino Moreno leans into vulnerability with little armor. Songs like “Prayers / Triangles” and “Hearts / Wires” shimmer uneasily, beauty and tension sharing the same breath. Challenging, divisive, and strangely luminous, this is a record that refuses comfort and finds its power in friction.
