1970 US original gatefold; Jacksonville pressing; Cut corner and seam wear. First press with just "P.D" credit for Maggie Mae. "Let It Be" marks the final album released by The Beatles focusing on their roots and a live sound. The production is relatively minimalistic, with Glyn Johns capturing a raw and unpolished feel that reproduces the band's live energy and spontaneity. The album features a diverse range of musical styles, from the classic rock sound of "Get Back" to the soulful ballad "Let It Be," and everything in between. The lyrics are introspective and reflective, with themes of love, loss, and hope permeating throughout the album. Standout tracks include "Across The Universe" and "I've Got a Feeling," which are both hauntingly beautiful and uplifting at the same time. "Let It Be" is a fitting farewell from one of the greatest bands in history, it has stood the test of time with hundreds of different pressings and even modernized by Gils Martin and Peter Jackson to a whole new audience.
