There Are Also A Couple Of Serviceable Originals, A Nice Version Of The Little-Known Goffin-King Item "On This Side Of Goodbye," And No Less Than Five Early Randy Newman Songs In All. Price Was Surely Newman's Biggest Booster At The Time, Running What Amounted To A Randy Newman Appreciation Society On Disc. An Uneven Effort, Running From Solid Bluesy Pop/Rock To Mawkish, Chipper Quasi-Vaudeville (The Latter Quality, Unfortunately, Is Typical Of The Newman Tunes Here).
