"Willie Alexander's new wave group, The Boom Boom Band, consisted of guitarist Billy Loosigian, bassist Severin Grossman, and drummer David McLean. In retrospect, it's amazing they managed to pose as punks, opening their major label debut album with "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin"' and closing with Alexander's tribute to Jack Kerouac.
