John Deen And The Trakk
Beat 69
1969 German stereo pressing in shrink. Very strange Psychedelic Pop from a mysterious British band with little to no background. The story goes, they where discovered in a Hamburg Club on the Reeperbahn and quickly rushed into a studio and in 3 hours had wrote and recorded 14 songs. Rock n Roll on all accounts. Production is raw at best and the songs are Monkee's at best but it's worth the listen as it is a great snapshot of 1967 underground. I still think the guy in the middle is Bronson Pinchot.
