1972 2LP in gatefold. Their first two albums are combine in one package. Chase is a jazz-rock ensemble led by trumpeter Bill Chase. Compriable to the Midwest horn sound of Chicago, Chase was known for a harder edge. Their debut, which was marked by the commercial hit "Get It On," laid the tracks for this hard driving band. Their second album saw the group exploring more complex musical territories, integrating progressive rock and jazz fusion with a heavy emphasis on intricate brass arrangements. The production involved substantial experimentation, reflecting a shift from radio-friendly tracks toward a more concept-driven format.
