Ella And Louis Again
2011 180g Mono deluxe edition, remaster in shrink. Released in 1957 by Verve Records, "Ella and Louis Again" is the second collaborative album by jazz icons Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, following their highly acclaimed 1956 debut "Ella and Louis." The album was produced by Norman Granz and features the Oscar Peterson Quartet, with Oscar Peterson on piano, Herb Ellis on guitar, Ray Brown on bass, and Louie Bellson replacing Buddy Rich on drums. Unlike their first collaboration, which featured the duo sharing vocal duties on every track, "Ella and Louis Again" presents a mix of duets and solo numbers, allowing both artists to showcase their individual talents alongside their unique chemistry when performing together.
