Released on December 11, 1961, Someday My Prince Will Come is a studio album by American jazz musician Miles Davis, issued by Columbia Records. The recording sessions took place in March 1961 at Columbia's 30th Street Studio in New York City. This album marked the only studio LP by the Miles Davis Quintet featuring tenor saxophonist Hank Mobley. Notably, John Coltrane makes guest appearances on the title track and "Teo," adding a distinctive touch to the album's sound. The title track is a jazz interpretation of the Disney classic from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The album blends modal jazz with traditional ballads, reflecting Davis's evolving musical direction during this period.
