1981 Stereo Japan Pressing Without Obi. "Bluesnik" is a jazz album by saxophonist Jackie McLean, released in 1961 on the Blue Note label. The album features McLean on alto saxophone, Freddie Hubbard on trumpet, Kenny Drew on piano, Doug Watkins on bass, and Pete La Roca on drums.

The album was recorded on February 3, 1961, at the Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs.

"Bluesnik" is a less seen album of McLean's and features six tracks, including the title track, "Bluesnik," which has become a jazz standard.

The album was well-received by critics and has remained popular among jazz fans ever since its release.
