The Jordanaires, who began working with Elvis in 1956, became integral to many of his studio sessions and live performances, providing distinct harmonies. Their smooth backing vocals contributed to the crossover appeal of Elvis’s music, blending gospel, country, and pop influences, and helping to elevate his rock and roll recordings to mainstream success.
