1983 Original. "Greatest Hits Vol. II" is a compilation album by American country music trio Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers. The album was released in 1984 by Columbia Records and is a follow-up to their first greatest hits album, released in 1980.
The Gatlin Brothers, consisting of brothers Larry, Steve, and Rudy Gatlin, formed in 1976 and quickly gained success in the country music industry with hits such as "Broken Lady" and "All the Gold in California." They were known for their tight harmonies and traditional country sound.
"Greatest Hits Vol. II" features 10 of the Gatlin Brothers' most popular songs, including "Houston (Means I'm One Day Closer to You)," "Sure Feels Like Love," and "All The Gold In California". The album reached number 10 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
