Shelley, Pete
Homosapien
1981 UK 12" two song EP. "Homosapien" marked a significant departure from his earlier work as frontman of the Buzzcocks, one of the defining bands of the original British punk movement. "Homosapien," became an underground club hit, notable for its androgynous lyrics and ambiguous sexual references, which led to it being banned by the BBC.
