Joe Jackson
I'm The Man - The 7-Inch Album
Rare & Collectible Vinyl Records
Joe Jackson
The first single, "Is She Really Going Out With Him?" was released in 1978 and became a hit in the UK and USA. The song was included on Jackson's debut album, "Look Sharp!", which was released later that year. The other three singles included on "I'm The Man - The 7-Inch Album" are "Sunday Papers," "One More Time" and "I'm The Man."
The album was released as a response to the success of "Is She Really Going Out With Him?" and helped to establish Jackson as a prominent figure in the new wave and post-punk movements of the late 1970s. "I'm The Man - The 7-Inch Album" was well-received by critics and fans alike and has since become a cult classic in Jackson's discography.
Jackson continued to release successful albums throughout the 1980s, including "Night and Day," which included the hit single "Steppin' Out." He has also dabbled in other genres, including classical music and jazz.
