Sealed Mono Original Pressed On Pure Vinyl. Sometime In The Late 1940's A Prominent Hollywood Studio Pianist Employed Art Tatum To Play For Just Him In His Well-Equipped Studio-Den. Tatum Was Picked Up From His Gig, Escorted To A Magnificent Steinway, Provided With A Bottomless Bottle Of Scotch And His Host Retired To The Console Of His "Latest Thing" 30ips Ampex. The Performance, Obviously Not The Disciplined Product Of A Cold Studio Recording Session, Is Relaxed And Warm, A Marvelous Glimpse Of Art Tatum, Master Jazz Pianist, Just Playing A Few Tunes He Like-A Jazz Chronicle.
