Joni James At Carnegie Hall
Sealed 1959 Gatefold Stereo Original. Prior To Its Release On MGM, This Super-Rare Michelangelo Company Pressing Was Released, Likely As A Promotional Only Item. On The Rear Cover A Small Circle Of Shrink Was Removed Which Has A Barely Visible Rubber Stamped "Thanks George Jung" (Likely A Promo Stamp). Probably The Most-Requested Album In The Joni James Canon! Joni Made History When She Appeared At Carnegie Hall In 1959; Not Only Was She The First Solo Pop Singer To Give A Concert There, But The 100-Piece Orchestra And 30-Voice Orchestra (Conducted By Aquaviva) Backing Her Made For One Of The Most Elaborate Shows Those Hallowed Halls Had Ever Witnessed.
