"Mediterranean Tales (Across The Waters)" Is The Second Album By The German Progressive Rock Band Triumvirat. It Was Released In 1972 And Was Their Breakthrough Album, Reaching Number 27 On The German Album Charts.

The Album Is A Concept Album That Tells The Story Of A Journey Across The Mediterranean Sea, Starting In Spain And Ending In Greece. The Music Is Heavily Influenced By Classical Composers Such As Bach, Beethoven, And Mozart, As Well As Progressive Rock Bands Like Emerson, Lake & Palmer And Yes.

Recorded At "Electrola Studios", Cologne During January 1972 It Features The Classic Triumvirat Lineup Of Jürgen Fritz On Keyboards, Hans Bathelt On Drums, And Hans Pape On Bass And Vocals.
