Earlier Incarnations Of The Set Have Released Several 7” Vinyl Singles And Compilation Tracks, But The Vibe For The Album Was Ever So Elusive. Finally, The Band Gelled With Nick (Organ) Leading, Steve Burke (Guitar), Sameer Gupta (Drums), And Aaron Rossi (Tenor Sax). The Soul Of The Group As Well As The Interplay Between The Members Was Honed In Extensive Live Performances During 2003 And 2004. With The Band At Its Creative Best, And Armed With 7 Original Tunes, Legendary Coast Recorders Was Booked, And The Rest As They Say Is History. “On The Outset” Was Recorded In 2 Sessions The Way Jazz Was Meant To Be Recorded – Live In The Studio With No Overdubs, Using Vintage Recording Equipment And Techniques, Alongside The Latest In High Fidelity Technology.
