Keating, John
Keating was born in 1927 in London and began his career as a music arranger and conductor for various orchestras and ensembles. He worked on a number of film and television scores, including the popular British series "The Avengers" and "The Prisoner".
In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Keating became interested in the possibilities of electronic music and began experimenting with synthesizers and other electronic instruments. "Space Experience" was one of the albums he created during this period.
The album features a mix of original compositions and covers of popular songs, all with a space-themed twist. Some of the tracks include "The Unknown Planet", "Star Trek", and "Space Adventure".
"Space Experience" was not a commercial success at the time of its release, but it has since become a cult classic among fans of electronic and space-themed music. Its futuristic sound and imaginative arrangements continue to inspire musicians and listeners today.
