Boris Khaikin And The Soviet Radio Symphony Orchestra And Academic Choir, With A Cast Led By Alexander Polyakov, Nina Lebedeva, Alexsei Usmanov, And Yevgeny Vladimirov. A Scarce Archival Lp Vinyl Recording Of Anton Rubinstein's 1871 Opera, With Libretto By Pavel Viskovatov (Based On The Poem By Mikhail Lermontov). It Was Premiered At The Mariinsky Theatre In St. Petersburg In 1875, Then At The Bolshoi In Moscow In 1879. The Record Box Is Solid, Square, And Unmarked. Apparently This Comes With A 4-Page Insert, Containing The Recording's Cast, A Scene-By-Scene Synopsis And Historical Notes On The Opera.
