Sealed 2015 seven mono 7" 45rpm limited edition numbered box set - #2237 of 3000. These replica 7-inch EPs were originally issued by the Motown family between 1964 and 1965, specifically for the UK market. This box set showcases historic releases by foundational Motown artists including Stevie Wonder, The Miracles, Marvin Gaye, The Marvelettes, Martha and the Vandellas, and The Supremes. At the time, these extended play records were an effective way for Tamla Motown to introduce American soul and R&B acts to British audiences, often preceding the massive popularity Motown would soon enjoy in the UK. The EPs featured a mix of singles, B-sides, and sometimes tracks not previously available on albums, providing a compact but diverse representation of each artist's early sound.
