World's End
Rare 1970 original with poster in gatefold with embossed "Not For Sale Promotion Use Only" top corner. "World's End" is the first album by the Belfast-based band Andwella, known at the time as Andwella (shortened from their original name, Andwella's Dream). The group, led by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Dave Lewis, had already established a reputation for blending progressive rock with elements of folk, jazz, and psychedelic music. By the time "World's End" was recorded, the band had solidified its lineup as a trio, featuring Dave Lewis, Dave McDougall, and Jack McCullock, with some additional musicians contributing on horns and strings. The album was produced during a period of significant musical experimentation in the UK, and it reflects the era's eclecticism, with meticulous arrangements and a more sophisticated sound than its predecessors.
