Sun Ra
Crystal Spears
Rare & Collectible Vinyl Records

Sealed 2018 Record Store Day exclusive pressed on opaque red vinyl. Custom hype sticker on shrink. Includes a 'quad-ra-color' Sun Ra poster. Strictly limited to 1,350 copies. Crystal Spears is one of Sun Ra’s most mysterious and powerful works—recorded in 1973 but shelved by Impulse! before its intended release. Dense, cosmic, and experimental, the album showcases Ra’s Arkestra in full avant-garde mode: swirling keyboards, spiraling horns, and a pulse that feels both earthly and interstellar. Long considered a “lost” session, it’s a brilliant document of Ra’s uncompromising vision at a creative peak.
