"Paradise and Lunch" is the fourth studio album by American guitarist and songwriter Ry Cooder, released in 1974. The album features a mix of covers and original songs, drawing on a variety of musical styles including blues, gospel, R&B, and country. It includes covers of songs by artists such as Sleepy John Estes, Blind Willie McTell, and Bo Diddley, as well as original compositions by Cooder. The album was well-received by critics and helped to establish Cooder as a leading figure in the roots music revival of the 1970s. It was also a commercial success, reaching #96 on the Billboard 200 chart.
